About the event

The Tao massage arises from the basis of the Tao “the path”, which means the great path of becoming conscious towards the tangible state of being.

This massage is a very delicate but particularly effective full-body massage.

The basis of the massage comes from the meridian theory and the theory of the polarities of Ying and Yang. A clearly structured sequence of repeated strokes invites the person giving the massage to relax into the massage. Instead of massaging in the classic sense, in Tao massage the energy is moved in the body and a feeling for it is developed. The clear, often very slow, repetitive strokes and the conscious step out of contact create a deep relaxation for the recipient. The recipient is often perceived to be in a very alert, observing state, with the body resting in a relaxed, “conscious” state.

This massage is particularly suitable for people who generally have difficulty relaxing during a massage. This massage helps you to surrender in stressful situations and to receive the touches without stress, thereby allowing yourself to be nourished by the mindful touches in a mentally alert and relaxed state.

The intimate area (only externally) is included with a few structured strokes, which are carried out very slowly and meditatively. Since mindfulness is very important, each participant decides for himself or herself how far he or she wants to carry out or receive the strokes.

In these 3 days we focus on practical learning of giving and receiving massages, which last around 2 hours. The massage is demonstrated in advance and then guided and accompanied in steps as you practice
